With the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and the rapid evolvement of technology becoming a pivotal asset in education, faculty must be equipped with skills and knowledge in AI to keep up with the ever-changing world. The Digital Learning & Innovation Program (DLI) is here to support Sheridan faculty and staff for this journey.
The Digital Learning & Innovation Program is a faculty-focused program run by SPARK: The Sheridan Centre for Academic Excellence, dedicated to training faculty and staff with innovative, relevant, and creative tools to expand their teaching tools and bring new experiences to the classroom.
These sessions include:
- Navigating AI and the Educational Environment
- Ethical Concerns and Bias in AI
- AI Tools for Personalized Learning
- Using AI for Assessment
- Developing AI Literacy Among Students
- Hands on Workshop with AI Tools
Our learner-focused approach explores AI as a tool to increase efficiency, creativity, and engagement in the classroom. The resources provided range from assistance with research, developing interactive visuals, and engaging tasks for students.
